Educational qualification

  • The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a University recognized by the UGC(University Grants Commission)
  • Adequate knowledge of Tamil Language is a must.

Selection procedure

Selection will be made in two stages

  1. Written examination
  2. Oral test

The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained in both written and oral test.

Marks for interview: 80 marks

Total marks for the exam: 680 marks

Minimum qualifying marks for SC, MBC, ST, BC, BCM, SC(A) candidates: 204 marks

Minimum qualifying marks for others: 272 marks
